Fire and Gas Control System SGAES-TG
Stationary Combustible Gas Detection System has the capacity to monitor potentially hazardous areas in proximity to oil and gas transit stations, gas and oil trunk pipelines, oil and gas storage tank farms, loading racks and similar facilities.. SGAES-TG Combustible Gas Detection System consists of an UPES Control Unit with up to 16 SGOES Gas Detectors. The Control Unit communicates to the Gas Detectors via 4-20mA loop. The control unit provides a 4-20 mA signal proportional to the gas detectors measuring range of gas of interest, High and Low Alarm indications and Trouble signals. . If a lower explosive level (LEL) of gas presence (measured as a percent) has reached a preconfigured value, the UPES sounds a warning and sends alert signals to the control room operator. In addition, the system initiates facility level protection programs. These can include activating emergency ventilation systems within automated response The Detectors may be remotely connected up to 3600 ft away from the Control Unit. This Approval covers use of the system when calibration is performed using the gas to be monitored and when the higher of the alarm points is preset within 10%LEL of the calibration gas consumption of 4.5W for each SGOES Combustible Gas detector. The UPES has an operating voltage of 95-125V AC at 300W.

UPES Multi-Channel Controller

UPES threshold device, microprocessor driven gas monitoring system offers maximum flexibility for an independent control system, which can also be interfaced to any PLC or DCS system. UPES can be used at industrial facilities for controlling of gas concentration in ambient air in case of detecting concentration thresholds are exceeded, the system will give out light and sound alarm as well as signals to the executing device like a warning system, air conditioning, sprinkler system, pump and hardware shutdown, etc. |

SGOES Gas Detection

SGOES operation is founded on differential absorption of electromagnetic radiation by hydrocarbon molecules and consists of change measuring of IR radiation intensity after IR radiation has passed the tested gas medium. For influence decreasing of water vapors, optics pollution, dust and changing of optical elements’ parameters is used the optical scheme with the absorption measuring at operating and reference wavelength. |
